Our Maredsous Abbey Liqueurs and Gins are made from an infusion of more than 10 medicinal plants in a distillate of organic-certified cereals.

We use double distillation at the end of which only the distillate’s “heart” is retained.

This process gives Maredsous Abbey Gins and Liqueurs a pure concentration of the aromatic richness of our Belgian Ardennes available in 5 different varieties, with the plants used in each possessing different therapeutic qualities.

STRENGTH & POWER
Organic botanical Gin made from an infusion of energising plants - 40% alc. vol.
 
Aged for 6 months in oak barrels. 
  • juniper berry (fruit),

  • common hogweed (seed),

  • hazel catkins (flower),

  • angelica, etc…

Properties:  invigorating, energising 

Tasting notes:  DRY - woody with dry and rounded aromas

Organic botanical gin made from an infusion of wild flowers - 40% alc. vol.
  • poppy,

  • woodruff,

  • St John’s wort,

  • mallow,

  • primrose, etc. 

Properties:  soothing and relaxing

WHISKY

SINGLE MALT
WHISKY BIO

ORGANIC premium whisky made from a unique distillate of organic-certified malts - 47% alc. vol.

Its ageing in Bourbon barrels with a finish in oak barrels previously used for white wine gives it a pleasantly woody softness and roundness along with a dominant taste of wine and herbs.

ORGANIC malt liqueur infused with honey and plants from the Abbey garden, made from a distillate of organic-certified malts - 32% alc. vol.

Its ageing in oak barrels followed by an infusion of organic honey and medicinal plants gives it a smooth floral and fruity note with a pleasantly herbaceous long finish in the mouth.​
